    9:25 AM

Devin Liddell, Principal Futurist at TEAGUE,

Imagine this near-future scenario: more than 5,000 mobility as a service brands around the world operate vehicles that are designed and produced by just a few OEMs. Hard to imagine? It shouldn’t be, considering that’s precisely the current scenario in commercial aviation, where airlines own the frontline relationship with passengers and essentially a duopoly of manufacturers make baseline airplanes for those airline brands to customize and operate. Is this the future of automotive as well? Or, are alternate futures possible? Informed by TEAGUE’s 70+-year design partnership with Boeing, Devin Liddell, Principal Futurist at TEAGUE, will detail passenger experience lessons automotive should learn from commercial aviation to create its preferred future.

With panelists working on building and selling cars, display components, connectivity, operating systems, EVs, and autonomous driving, we will discuss the ever-growing number of features that customers want, how they complicate the UX and safety prerogative of the car, and how can carmakers deliver these features, while making the car-driving, and passenger experience safer, lower stress, and more enjoyable?.
