    Fireside Chat
The car cockpit experience is evolving; as Artificial Intelligence applications, mobile integration and IOT permeates and condition our digital life experience, the devices and their eco-system will shape expectations inside and outside the car. Maturing Natural Language Understanding algorithms, contextually evolving AI systems, eye tracking, and gesture control technologies will disrupt HMI as we now it today, the HMI will be a more intuitive and immersive experience, and the space inside the car will become luxurious by the space we free and things we remove; so its uncultured on one hand, and on the other, is swarming with intelligent interactive and integrated sensing. In the near future we will see the innovative and fun functionalities covering gesture control, behavior tracking and biometrical detection mature and become essential to the consumer experience, and the car brand and its technology relevance. Visteon is one of the most innovative, global Tier Ones that develops and offers different HMIs covering, among others, AI applications, voice control, eye tracking and skeleton tracking/gesture control technologies. gestigon is a start up from Germany that is, already today, global market leader for automotive/interior skeleton tracking and gesture control software solutions. Shadi Mere (Visteon) and Moritz v. Grotthuss (gestigon) will share insight on their experience, the technical challenges and the opportunities to introduce these next generation HMIs.
