Silicon Valley Reinvents the Wheel & Autotech Council Science Fair

2017 Silicon Valley Reinvents the Wheel Technology Conference

Western Automotive Journalist Association presents their 5th Annual Silicon Valley Reinvents the Wheel, co-located this year with Autotech Council's Annual Science Fair, for a full day of looking into the future of the automotive industry.

WAJ joins forces with the Autotech Council for an event in the epicenter of innovation that will bring together thought leaders from the auto and tech worlds to examine not only the future of cars but also how technology is transforming transportation. The event, Silicon Valley Reinvents the Wheel (SVRTW) will feature engaging discussions on topics including next-generation powertrains and fuels, 21st Century automotive ownership, HMI, deep learning, connected and self-driving technology.

SVRTW includes cutting edge vehicle and product demonstrations from automakers, their technology suppliers, and visionaries from Silicon Valley. Lunch will be provided by the finest in Silicon Valley Gourmet Food Trucks.

Down the hall from SVRTW, Autotech Council's Annual Science Fair takes place from 12-4.

While Autotech Council members are dedicated to scouting, integrating and building innovation for mobility through monthly Startup Reviews, our annual Science Fair promotes the innovation happening inside our members and the traditional automotive vendors. Car makers

and their technology partners and suppliers push their virtual shopping carts through rows of demo tables, technology exhibits, and cutting edge projects. Descriptions of this year's projects are on the Science Fair page in this site. Autotech Council's Science Fair is free and open to the public.

  • Participants: 300+ influential attendees including OEMs, suppliers, developers, startups, investors, educators, recruiters and journalists.
  • Journalists: WAJ automotive journalists along with tech, lifestyle and local media.
  • Vehicle Demo: 20+ vehicles displaying the latest current technology available.
