Science Fair 2019

Time for show-and-tell! 
Unlike most of Autotech Council meetings where the carmakers, vendors, suppliers, and investors who make up the Autotech Council discover new ideas and products from startups, our annual Science Fair allows industry leaders to promote their own innovations, share how they work with new technologies and partners, and promote successful partnerships with new companies - to prove they can be good technology partners.



What to expect:
An open room full of exhibit tables set with demos, development projects, product samples and explanations. All exhibits are technical, not marketing, and exhibit staff are engineers, not PR.

How to Participate

Just like a high school Science Fair, these exhibits are technical and hands-on. The exhibits are staffed by technical and engineering managers who can answer real questions, understand integration, and can brainstorm synergies and use cases.

The exhibits are not flashy; instead of superficial marketing and tradeshow booths, Science Fair exhibitors get an 8 foot table to display their most innovative products and ideas. Most exhibitors bring 2 or 3 staff, who will have a very busy 3 hours. Startup exhibitors get a smaller table in the Startup Zone, with the same focus on technology and partnership.

  • Exhibit Tables: Exhibits and exhibit staff should be technical, hands-on, and highlight your innovation and how you work with technology partners. Set up by 11am and removed by 5pm.
  • Parking Lot Demo: Demo cars must be parked by 8am and manned until 6pm.
  • Startups: Smaller tables in the startup zone are available to pre-revenue companies.

Exhibit Marketing:
Along with having an exhibit at the Science Fair and introducing your technology to 100s of companies in the mobility ecosystem, each technology presented will be:

  • Promoted to the Western Automotive Journalists association
  • Included in online and onsite marketing before and during the Science Fair

Supporting Sponsors:
Companies committed to innovation but not able to exhibit this year can still present themselves as leaders in the mobility revolution and not a follower. For $1,000, Science Fair sponsors have their brand and innovation message delivered to every Science Fair participant and 10,000 Autotech Council subscribers.

Startup Table: $2000 (available to pre-revenue companies)
Table Sponsor: $1000 (for upgraded placement and promotion)
